Do I need building work or strata approval?
No, and that's exactly what makes installation so simple. No drilling through walls, no outdoor unit on the facade, no approval to ask for, even in an apartment. About an hour, and the illustrated instructions cover every step.
Is it really silent?
Yes. Under 22 dB in use, the level of a whisper. At low speed you forget it's there, even at night.
What ceiling height do I need?
At least 2.3 m. Ideally the blades sit about 2.1 m above the floor: that gives the best air movement without getting in the way. The recommended diameter for each room size is shown on every model.
