Our story
Every room deserves its own ceiling fan
My name is Ethan, and I created Oreila because I couldn't find the ceiling fan I was looking for anywhere. Today, we select quiet models for you, with or without a light.
Where it started
One more summer in the heat
It all started with a simple observation. Heatwaves keep coming back, power bills keep climbing, and air conditioning is going in everywhere: noisy, power-hungry, drying. Yet a gentler alternative has been around for a long time: the ceiling fan. Discreet, quiet, installed once and for all. No building work, no outdoor unit on the facade, no strata approval to ask for.
When I went looking for mine, all I found were generic products, poorly presented, chosen on price rather than quality. That is where Oreila came from: today, we select the models I would have wanted to find myself.
Our approach
With or without a light, you choose
Not every room has the same needs. Some want light, others just air. That's why our range covers both.
For rooms that already have lighting
Does your living room or bedroom already have a light? Our models without LED focus on the essentials: a clean design and a quiet airflow, with no doubled-up lighting.
To light and cool
A room with no central ceiling light? Our models with a built-in LED light bring air movement and light from a single point, often adjustable to suit your needs.
Our commitment
Selection over catalogue
We're not trying to pile up hundreds of references. Every ceiling fan joins our range because it meets clear criteria: a quiet DC motor, a measured noise level under 22 dB, and careful finishes, from light timber to matte black.
A tight range also means a simpler choice for you, and a customer support team that genuinely knows the products it recommends. Oreila is an independent brand: you write, a real person answers. A question before you order? The most common answers are already in our FAQ.
Quiet
DC motor under 22 dB. You hear the conversation, not the ceiling fan.
Choice
With or without LED. The right model for your room, not the other way round.
Real-person support
A team you can actually reach, who answer quickly, before and after your purchase.
Warranty
Every one of our ceiling fans comes with a 2-year warranty.
“You forget it's even on. It looks beautiful, and the quiet is impressive.”
